I am so so so annoyed by the lack of time to do weekly holiday assignments when i am supposed to do them and go to school everyday from morning till evening. Art is not.even productive because I am so tired after being drained of my morning due to classes...

So tired everyday = at night cannot study = put off assignments till next day and another day = pile up everything at 2nd week = not confirm can finish all piled up stuffs in a week = stress = sad and depressing = 0% productivity = give holiday assignments like never give like that.

Part of me is so so so so so so so so tired. TIRED!

a little something in everybody’s life.

A.

Take this quiz:
1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America contest.
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor actress.
6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

B.
Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:
1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel, appreciated and special.
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.
6. Name half a dozen heroes whose stories have inspired you. Easier?

How well did you fare?

The lesson: In (A), none of us really remember the headliners of yesterday. These are
no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields.
But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten.
Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

But in (B), The people who make a difference in your life are not
the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones, that care. :-)

a proper post before I go sane.

A little something I found:

Fence

There was a little boy with a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, to hammer a nail in the back fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence.

Then it gradually dwindled down. He discovered  it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence. Finally the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day he was able to hold his temper.

The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said,”You have done well my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won’t matter how many time s you say ‘I’m sorry’, the wound is still there.”

This was a handout my English Language teacher back in Primary 6 gave us. This story was etched in my heart and it never left.

A reminder to me, to not do things in a moment of rush, not just with anger, but anything else.

These few weeks has been crazy. Adieu.
